The Dachshund is an elongated, vigorous, muscular dog with short legs, this is how the nick name wiener dog came about. It is easy to see why so many people enjoy the company of this small breed dog. Loads of fun to play with and so easy to teach new tricks to, these little guys just rank number one for so many of this breeds owners.
