I have heard that if you take tea tree oil and dip a cord in it and then take the cord and put it inside of a bandana then tie it around your animals neck dog or cat, it will help with fleas. I have never tried it because of the smell of the tea tree oil, it is quite a strong smell if you know what I mean. But the old timers I have talked to say that is what they would use before they came out with frontline and advantix. They said it is not as good as what a vet offers but it does help with flea infestation.
