The Chow Chow is a beautiful dog to look at with it's lion apperence and its black toung. This breed originated in China, where it was used as a hunting dog. This breed does not move around to much during the hot summer months because of thier thick coat.
The Chow is devoted to thier families, but often do not do well with other pets. New owners should socialize there puppys to be sure they do not grow up to be aggressive to strangers. Puppy obedience classes are a good way to ensure your Chow receives thorough obedience training. The Chow does have a tendency to dominate people if they can get away with it so you will have to be firm and always be sure to follow through on commands.

The Beagle is a popular hunting dog, they have been used to hunt for several centuries, but they can also make a wonderful family pet. Queen Elizabeth I owned a pack of Pocket Beagles
This breed loves children, and other dogs, but could go after your cat with just plain harassment in mind. They are very playful and affectionate but have a tendency to be sensitive. Warning children to not laugh at the dog if it gets into a mishap because it could brood for days on end.
This breed has a keen sense of smell with strong hunting instincts. The Beagle is a member of the American Kennel Clubs Hound group and comes in two sizes, under thirteen inches and thirteen to fifteen inches. The Beagle has dark eyes, droopy ears, and a long tail. It's coat commonly comes in a combination of tan, black and white colors.
