The American Bulldog will weigh 60 to 120 pounds when full grown. This breed is quite active and likes having a job to do. Frequent walks or play sessions will satisfy this need. Their short coat requires very little care. Regular brushing is enough to keep their average shedding under control. American Bulldog puppies are a good choice for families with children and even other dogs, as long as they are socialized early. They are not recommended for families with cats or other small pets, nor for first time dog owners as patient, consistent training methods are a must.
