Bassatrievers
The Bassatriever is a cross between the Golden Retriever and Basset Hound breeds. They will weigh 35 to 70 pounds when full grown. Bassatrievers are prone to being overweight, so regular daily exercise is required to keep their weight in check. Their short, shiny coat requires little more than weekly brushing. Bassatriever puppies are intelligent and calm. They are great with children, other dogs and pets if socialized early.

Bassatrievers For Sale
A lot of people have heard of the Bassatriever, but they do not know what it is. Well, really this is, of course, a crossbred dog. In fact, it is a cross between a Bassett Hound and a Golden Retriever. This makes for one cute dog. Usually the dog comes out looking sort of like a short hard retriever, but instead of being gold, they usually come out a soft brown color. These dogs are very cute and super playful. As you may have guessed, the Bassatrievers are very good hunting dogs. After all, both dogs that are used to breed them are of the hunting breed. Most of the time, you can train this kind of dog to do one of two things. You can train your Bassatriever to be a retriever of game you shoot down, or you can choose it to be a scent dog. Some have trained the dog to be a flushing dog too, but some just group that together with the job of the retriever.
