Although the Siberian Husky is a dog that is a domestic dog, it
really does show a lot of its wolf like traits, more so than
other dogs do. For example, a lot of dogs bark a lot. However,
Siberian Huskies seem to howl more than bark. They are working
dogs so they have a need to please. They have very thick fur, and
this is because it has a double coat. So yes, this is an animal
that is going to shed a lot. The Siberian Husky is a dog that
likes the extreme cold. Places like Siberia work really well for
this dog. Very few of them live in the United States because of
how warm it is. If you do find Siberian Huskies in the United
States, they are going to live far up north close to Canada. In
fact, Alaska has been known to have a few Siberian Huskies there.
They are a very active dog, and this goes back to the fact that
they are working dogs.
