Akbash Dogs For Sale
The Akbash is a dog that is still used to this day for guarding livestock. The name of this dog actually comes from the Turkish word that means white head. Akbash dogs are not shy, but they do not get along very great with humans that aren't members of their family. However, this breed is not known for being hostile at all. If the dog is trained right, the Akbash dog can be very personable with all creatures, no matter what size or age they are. In fact, a lot of Akbash dogs have been said to get along great with kids but preferably over the age of 8. The main problem that people have with this dog is that they sometimes think that they know more than their masters do when it comes time to train. However, if you start training at a young age, this is something that can be avoided. Also, on a side note, these dogs have a lot of energy, thus, they aren't happy living in small spaces. These aren't good dogs for apartment living, and requite a large back yard to run in when they arent on a lead. However, when it comes time to work, they will get the job done.
