The Belgian Sheepdog is one of the most intelligent breeds of dogs that you can choose to own. Not only that, but all Belgian Sheepdogs actually bond very closely with the people that take care of them. Pretty much what that means is that they are great dogs to keep as family pets. One thing is for sure is that they need a lot of socializing when they are puppies. This keeps them from being mean to other people that are not their family, as well as other animals. Belgian Sheepdogs do look to try and stay by their masters' side all the time. They never want to leave you alone. Unless you are a true dog lover, this could actually grow to be a problem. Whenever you are at home, the Belgian Sheepdog will always make sure that it's at least in the same room as you. In big rooms, this is not a problem, but the Belgian Sheepdog is not a small dog, and when you get into small rooms, you could be asking for trouble.
