Rat Terriers For Sale
The Rat Terrier is a type of American bred dog. They have a very rich background, but as you can guess from the name, they first came about to hunt rats. These dogs use to only be seen on family farms around the 1920's and the 1930's. However, due to this dog's cute look and its charming personality, it is now kept a lot as a house pet as well. Also, Rat Terriers are very smart dogs. They can easily learn tricks and commands. The dog sometimes gets mistaken for being a Jack Russell Terrier. However, their personalities are much different. In fact, Rat Terriers tend to be a lot less aggressive than a Jack Russell. Also, unlike the Jack Russell, the Rat Terriers have an off switch. They are capable of just lounging around the house. In fact, they prefer it. They do like to play, but having a Rat Terrier is a lot less work than having a Jack Russell.
