Akbash Dogs

There are very few dogs that you hear about that are native to Turkey, however, the Akbash dog is one of them. This is a dog that was pretty much just used to guard livestock. The name Akbash, comes from the Turkish word meaning white head. This name was given to the dog because of its all white coat. Even its head is completely white (hence the name). The Akbash dog is well known for its power. However, it is also known for its loyalty. Even the Akbash dog puppies for sale are known to be pretty strong as well. However, this is a guard dog and is not known to be very personable with humans. Keeping that in mind, these dogs are not known to be hostile either. They are a independent breed that does not have to have much to do with humans to be happy.

Of course, all Akbash dogs can be trained to be whatever you want them to be. The Akbash dog can be a great companion dog and can be extremely personable if it's trained to be so. This is true no matter the size or age of the person that it is trained to like. In fact, in Turkey, these dogs are trained to be life long friends of kids. As they grow up, their Akbash dog goes everywhere with them. They guard the kid and play with the kid. This is even a dog that sleeps in the kid's room. Over time the dog and the kid have an everlasting bond. This is good, except for one fact, and that's the fact that the Akbash dog is so big that it does not live a long life. Pretty much this dog is only expected to live to the age of 10, maybe 11. However, there have been some studies done that show that this dog can live much longer. It really depends on the way you take care of the dog. In fact, in Canada, there was a Akbash dog that lived to be the age of 17 and a half.

For being a guardian dog, the Akbash dog has very low energy levels. In fact, it would rather sit in the yard all day with you than work. However, it will get done any job that you give it. The dogs are known for their bravery and their intelligence. However, they are also known for independence and loyalty (as funny as that sounds). Since this is such a big dog, it does have a few health problems that you should know about before purchasing an Akbash dog for sale. This dog can get hip dysplasia and is one of the first dogs to ever be found with OCD. This is a dog that is growing in popularity, and over time you can expect to see more of these dogs out on the street. This is a dog that can be both loving or independent. It's one of the few dogs that you can choose what you want it to be. This is a dog that will keep all of its toys you give them together and always puts things back where they go. This is another reason why the dog makes a good watch dog. They do not like to lose livestock, because it makes them feel uneasy.
