Whenever you are hearing about a Bolognese, you are more than likely going to hear about it being a companionship dog. These dogs are very small and white. These dogs also have one coat, so that means that they have no undercoat at all. The texture of the hair (when you are touching them) is very woolly feeling. Although, if the hair is cut short, it has been known to have a somewhat silky feel to it. The reason why people love these dogs so much is that they do not shed their hair. Thus, if you are a person that has watery eyes, this could be a good dog for you to choose to have. The Bolognese puppies are known to be very cute as well. In fact, so many people love these puppies that they are known to be a crowd favorite. In other words, these dogs are said to be hypoallergenic.
These dogs love people and usually are quite happy to meet new people. However, they will bark (well it's more like a cry than dog barking) when they hear strange nosies. This is something that is very hard to break them of. A lot of people use to say that this was the only down side on buying Bolognese for sale or Bolognese puppies for sale dogs. The dogs, as said before, are not very big. In fact, they are usually only about 25 to 30 cm high. Most of the time they only weigh between 4 and 5 kg. Of course, they have been known to get bigger if they are overfed, which a lot of people tend to do to their dogs.
These dogs are somewhat less active than what you may think. They love to play dog games and will go on walks with you, but this is a dog that is going to be ready to come home long before you are. They usually have a very close bond with their owners, and they are very intelligent. It is for that reason that they are very easy to train. If you want this dog to play more, then you may want to get another dog for it to play with. Usually when you have another family pet, this dog is more active. They are great with children, but the dogs only live to be about 12 to 14 years old. Thus, it can be sad for the kid when they grow up to lose their childhood friend. You would be shocked to know how much kids hold on to their childhood friend memories as they grow up.
For the most part, there are not any bad dog health problems that go along with this kind of dog. The Bolognese is, overall, a pretty healthy dog. However, it is still very important to take them to get checked from time to time. These dogs are not dogs that can have people food at all. Of course, it is very important to point out, while we are on the subject, that dogs do not need people food at all instead of dog pedigrees. Even if it's just a little bit, you are slowing killing your dog. They are not made to eat our kind of food.
