Bull Terriers
There are some dogs that, when you see them, you know what they are right away. This is the case with the Bull Terrier or sometimes called the English Bull Terrier. This is a breed that of course can be found in the Terrier family group. As soon as you see this dog the thing that you notice right away is it's head. It has an egg shape to it. This is because there muzzle does not turn into itself at the top but kind of bows out. This gives there had a very full round look to it. The body of the Bull Terriers is very muscular and it's tail is usually carried horizontally. The way the breed walks is kind of funny and this can even be seen when you checkout the Bull Terrier puppies for sale or Bull Terrier for sale in the dog stores. They walk with gladiator look to them. IN fact they are usually know as the gladiator of the canines.
The dog is not very tall, usually about 20 inches. However because it has a muscular frame, it is kind of heavy set. The dog can weigh up to 60 pounds! Another thing that you will be able to use to identify the Bull Terrier is it's triangle shaped eyes. This is the only breed (except the miniature bull terrier) that has this look to it. These dogs are very fun and perfect for family. This dog is a human lover by heart and will do what ever it can to please you. The only thing that you have to look out for is the face that they sometimes like to play with kids and because of how big they are can cause pain with out even knowing it. They look at kids as playmates and not masters for dog games.
The Bull Terrier is well know for having some very funny attitudes to it's personality as well. They are very smart dogs as well and it's the only thing that can match there strength. There body and there mind both need to remain active to stay fit. Although we talked about how they can sometimes be rough with children they are still very good with them. In fact these dogs have a very high threshold of pain and this means that they are not likely to attack the kid if they get hurt a little bit.
