Chesapeake Bay Retrievers
As the name implies, the Chesapeake Bay retriever is a breed of dog developed along the Chesapeake Bay. It was bred for hunting and is able to hunt under adverse weather conditions as well as adverse water conditions. They have been known to break the ice in order to make the retrieval they are after.
