These dogs are pretty easy to train, but they tend to not listen all the time. This is not because they did not learn the command, but because they chose to not listen. This makes them one of the smartest and most strong willed breeds around. These dogs tend to get scared more often when they can not see, so if your dog goes blind, you will have to start spending more time with it. That way it can remember your scent. Only then will this dog live a happier life after losing its sight. Do not expect this dog to live too long. Even with a good dog diet, they do not live for very many years.
