Japanese Chin Dogs
If you have ever wanted a dog that was very cat-like, then you will have to take a look at the Japanese Chin. This is a dog that is very alert and intelligent, as well as independent like most cats. Not only that, but Japanese Chins are some of the only dogs that use their front paws to wash their face, just like a cat. Thus, making Japanese Chins some of the cleanest dogs that you can find. Something else that is very cat-like about Japanese Chins is the fact that they like to sit up in high areas. For example, they like to sit on the backs of sofas and things like that, just like a cat. This is because it's small, and it's easier for the dog to see what is going on if it's sitting in one of these locations. Now, why don't we take a deeper look at the Japaneses Chin.
When you go out to find Japaneses Chin puppies for sale or Japanese Chins for sale you will find they are very cat-like, they are still dogs. In fact, they are companionship dogs. They love to be with their owners, and they are very loyal. Most of the time, they are typically happy to see their people. However, they do become timid around strangers. In fact, most of the time, the Japanese Chin will watch the stranger from an area of the house where it feels like it can not be seen. Even if you can see the dog during this time, it is best to pretend that you can not. To avoid having to go through this, it's a good idea to learn to socialize Japaneses Chin puppies early in life. This could help avoid this whole show all together.
One problem that the dog does have is that it likes to bark to alert people of many things. It's favorite time to dog bark is when people are at the door. The Japanese Chin does not bark to try and scare the person away, but it does bark to let you know that people have arrived. It thinks that you do not know that people are there. Besides this, most of the time, the Japanese Chin can be pretty quite. Of course, this all goes back to how it is raised. If you raise it to be quite, then it will be. If not, then you could be in for a lot of dog barking.
One cool thing about this dog is the fact that after it gets to know people, all it does is want to entertain people. If it sees you laugh or that you are happy with something that it did, it will do it over and over again, hoping to get the same reaction. One thing that it does a lot is, of course, the famous Chin Spin. This is where it will go very rapidly in a circle and dance on it's high legs. Sometimes it will sing while doing this, it comes out sounding like a long boo sound. People just can not get enough of these dogs, and they love to own them. If you have never seen Japanese Chin puppies, then you are in for a treat when you first see them!
