Norwegian Buhunds

Some dogs love cold weather, and some of them just like the snow. This just so happens to be the case with the Norwegian Buhund. This is a dog that is actually a member of the spitz family. When you look at the dog, you can tell that it is very closely related to the Icelandic Sheepdog. This is a dog that was made to take care of livestock. In fact, in Norway, the word hund means both homestead and livestock. Of course, this is a dog that just does not love to work, it loves to play. It will get done any job that you ask of it, but after that this dog is going to take to playing. Most of the time it will play with anyone that it can find. Some of the time you will find that the Norwegian Buhund likes to play with the livestock that it's taking care of. However, this is not something that the livestock usually likes, and it sends them into a rage. The Norwegian Buhunds can be taught not to play with the livestock if you train them as Norwegian Buhund puppies.

These dogs are a pretty good size and usually stand about 17 to 18 inches off the ground. On top of that, they normally weigh about 40 pounds. The dog comes in a lot of different colors, but the most common to see is black. Overall, the Norwegian Buhund is a very friendly dog and very loyal on top of that. It gets along with all animals and all people. If you can get two dogs, the Norwegian Buhund will be very happy. It likes having another dog to play with and one to sleep beside. This is a very affectionate dog. However, you need to be careful. If you do get a friend for the Norwegian Buhund to play with, and that dog dies first, the Norwegian Buhund becomes very upset. Normally you see them full of energy, because they are very agile and quick. However, you will see none of that if they lose a friend.

Also you need to know that these are dogs that love to play sports and dog games before you buy a Norwegian Buhund for sale or Norwegian Buhund puppies for sale. If you live near a beach or a place like that, you should take your dog there. That way they can run in the sand and catch a ball that you throw. However, this is not a water dog. They can swim, but they are not very good at it and are not very good at going into the ocean. There fur is very thick and it can be hard at times for them to dry off after getting wet. This can make for a very unhappy dog and a very messy car on your part.

All in all, this is a dog that is going to love your family, and wants you to love it back. This dog loves kids, mostly because it just loves anyone that can play with it. The dog should not have people food, just like all dogs should not. Also, do not over feed this dog, because it's hips will have problems later on in its life.
