Pulis

Whenever you are thinking of buying a Puli for sale or Puli Puppies for sale , the first thing that is going to come to mind is a mop. The style of their fur is that of a mop head, and it is all over their body. Their hair is in very thigh curls; and it pretty much looks like dreadlocks; and this makes the dog pretty much waterproof. Sometimes these dogs are confused with the Komondor dogs, but those types of dogs are much larger than the Pulis. Even the Puli Puppies will have the same look as the adults. Some people do cut the hair off the Pulis to keep them cooler during the summer days. Another reason why these dogs are called the mop dogs is because their hair tends to drag on the ground. When they are outside, it looks like they are mopping the floor. Most of the time they come back with things like twigs and leaves caught in their fur. If not taken care of, their fur can get out of control very quickly.

A Puli is a very smart and intelligent dog. They also, even with their fur, have amazing agility for such a small dog. They are usually very obedient after they undergo dog obedience training, and that makes them good in athletic competitions. Believe it or not, these small dogs are also great herding dogs. They can herd animals that are almost 20 times their size. These dogs are very loyal, and this makes them very wary of strangers. Whenever you have people come over to your house, this dog will only trust the person after the master hugs or shakes hands with the person. It's funny to watch, because the Puli will watch for it, and as soon as it happens it will come out of hiding.

Pulis also have very puppy like energy throughout their whole life, making them very active all the time. However, they do tend to get tired just as fast as they become active. When you assign this dog a task, it will not stop until the job is done. It does not lose focus very easy like some other dogs do. These dogs tend to think of kids like their flock (like a flock of sheep). Thus, when playing with these dogs out in the yard, the dog will try and herd your kids. Not only that, but if someone they do not know comes toward their flock, or your kids, then these dogs become very protective.

These dogs are great, and they are perfect for families. Kids usually love these dogs, because of their look and how much these dogs like to play. However, very often these dogs do not like to stop playing. So when it comes time for bed or homework, they tend to keep bugging the kids. Either way, this dog makes a wonder pet, and it is going to make everyone in your family happy to see this dog. Do not let it fool you, however, it is easy to train, although sometimes they like to act like they forgot. Some people say this is so you will take the time to train it to them again. Thus it's kind of like a game to them.
