There are some dogs that are great hunters, and there are some dogs that are amazing hunters. That is the case with the Weimaraner. This is a dog that was developed way back in the 19th century for the sole reason to hunt. This was a dog that was bred to be used by royalty to hunt pretty large game. Something that Weimaraners are known to hunt are things like boar and deers. Some have even been known to hunt bears. As time went on, hunting large game like that started to decline, and these dogs were started to be used on smaller animals. However, this is fine, because the Weimaraner is a very fast dog. You can tell that it's going to be fast even when it's young. The Weimaraner puppies are even faster than most adult dogs. Another cool thing about the Weimaraner is that it is an all purpose dog. It can be used for flushing or used for pointing.

If you want a dog that is gong to care for you as much as you care for it, this is the dog for you. For if you do not love it, it is not going to love you in return. However, if you show it a bit of love, it will do anything for you to make sure that you are happy. These dogs do not like to be in trouble, and on that same note, they do not respond well to beatings. Keep this in mind when training the dog. Otherwise, you will have a hard time getting this dog to listen to you.
