Afghan Hounds For Sale
The Afghan Hound is a dog that is part of the sight hound breed. This dog can be spotted from a long ways off due to it's very thick and fine coat of fur. In fact, it almost has what some would call a silky look to it. Afghan Hound dogs actually got this cool feature from living in the cold mountains of Afghanistan. It was up there that the Afghan Hound dogs were used to hunt for things like hares and gazelles. Over the years, the Afghan Hound breed has been given many names. Some of these names include the Balkh Hound, Kabul Hound, and some people have even called it the African Hound, which, of course, is very incorrect. One thing to know about the Afghan Hound is that it is very slow to learn and hard to train. It has a very clownish like personality about everything it does.
