You can more than likely tell by the name that the Bernese
Mountain Dog is a dog that loves to be outside. These are dogs
that can be well behaved inside, however, if you train them to

lot of outside time and get their daily exercise. The good news
for people that want them to be inside dogs is the fact that
these big dogs do not have a lot of endurance, meaning taking
them for a quick walk or a short jog will do them in for the day.
As the name also suggests, the Bernese Mountain Dog is a dog that
likes to go hiking. Check to make sure that your dog does not
have any problems with their hips or elbows first. If their
joints are bad, they are not going to want to go hiking. Bernese
