The Cane Corso is an Italian breed of dog. Back in the day, they
were mainly used for guard dogs. However, because they are pretty
sweet dogs, there are no longer used as guard dogs. Some people
claim that their Cane Corsos are aggressive. This should not be
the case unless trained to be that way. Most of them are going to
be fine whenever you approach them unless they feel like you are
a threat. In America, most of these dogs do not posses the right
temperament for this dog. They have not been trained right, and
thus, they are very aggressive dogs. Either way you look at it,
the Cane Corso is a dog that is fun to be around and does make a
good house dog. It is very loyal and will never attack its master
or its children. However, they will always make great guard dogs,
not just watch dogs. If someone breaks into your house and you
are not home, this is a dog that is not going to wait to attack
them.
