The Cardigan Welsh Corgi is a great dog and just so happens to be one of the oldest breeds of herding dogs. The thing to note about the Cardigan Welsh Corgis is, of course, their small size. These dogs sit very low to the ground, and this has to do with the fact that they are a herding breed. In fact, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi may look small, but it is used to herd cattle. It sits so low to avoid being kicked when it bites the cattle on the back of the leg. As you can guess, when a cow gets bit, the first thing that it wants to do is kick its back legs. The Cardigan Welsh Corgi is a small dog and can avoid being hit with the feet of the cow. Not only are the Cardigan Welsh Corgis great dogs when it comes to herding, they are also great dogs to have as family dogs. They are sweet, outgoing, and they love to eat whatever they can find.
