The Chinese Crested is a very unusual breed of dog, and a very small breed of dog at that. In fact, the Chinese Crested Dogs usually only weight about 10 pounds. Of course, this is a breed of dog that takes a lot of taking care of. Although there is no hair that you have to take care off, this is a power puff dog that needs a lot of grooming. Mostly what you have to do is keep the skin of the Chinese Crested protected. This dog cannot spend too much time out in the sun, because its skin will spot and burn. Trying to treat burned Chinese Crested Dogs is like trying to deal with a baby that has sunburn (it's not very fun and very annoying). So the best way to avoid having to do this is to keep the dog from getting sun burned to start with. Some people even put sun block on their dog before they go outside.
