Chinese Shar Peis For Sale
The Chinese Shar Pei is one of those dogs that you can point out from any line up of dogs. This is because it has the very distinctive feature of having deep wrinkles over it's whole body and having a blue-black tongue. As the name suggests, the Chinese Shar Peis came from China. The name, when you translate it from Chinese stands for sand skin, meaning that the skin flows freely over the body like sand. Although this may not make since, when you look at the coat of the dog, you may understand. Not only that, but the coat of the Chinese Shar Pei is pretty rough as well. The name sand skin is also said to refer to the texture of their fur as well, meaning that this is not the most cuddly dog to sleep with at night. It's kind of funny, but when the Shar Pei is first born, they have tons of wrinkles. As they grow up, the wrinkles disappear, because they grow into their skin.
