The English Pointer is one of the coolest hunting dogs you will ever see. Although it is a great hunter, that is not what makes it the greatest hunting dog. In fact, it's its award winning personality that most people like. In fact, a lot of people do not use English Pointers as hunting dogs anymore. In fact, most of them are used for companionship dogs. This is fine with the English Pointer dog, because they just want to be with you. People do not seem to understand that these dogs do not have to hunt. However, if you do take them hunting, this dog is pretty fun to watch. It will go up to a bush and if there is an animal in it or in a tree, the dog will point with its nose to show you that the animal is in there. Most people have seen these dogs point (usually on TV) out an animal before, and it really is a cool sight to see.
