That is because the English Setters love to play and kids love to play too. This is a dog that will play for hours just going after a ball that you throw. Of course, this dog does have a problem with overeating. Sometimes the English Setters tend to get fat. To keep the English Setters from getting fat, you need to take them outside to play from time to time. This dog does like to sit around the house if you let it. On top of that, this dog does get along with other dogs. However, they do have to be trained to get along with cats. Overall, this is a great breed of dog that you can not go wrong with. This makes a great family dog.
