The Fila Brasilerio is a type of dog that is very naturally aggressive. They get along with their family just fine, but they do not hind their aggressiveness towards strangers at all. In fact, Fila Brasileiros are well known for being so aggressive that when they are in dog shows, they do not get disqualified for showing aggressiveness to the judges. Most dogs are kicked out of dog shows for that reason, but these dogs are not, because this is so common for them to show that aggression. The dog can be sweet, but the main reason why people get these dogs is to actually use them for guard dogs. If you get the Fila Brasileiro, you better be ready to train this dog, because it does need a lot of training. However, it is still not going to help their aggression towards strangers. This is not a good dog for first time dog owners. Keep that in mind before getting one.
