The Goldendoodle is a breed of dog that is becoming very popular nowadays. As you can more than likely tell by the name, the Goldendoodle is, of course, a mixed breed of dog. It's actually a mix between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. As you look into more crossbred dogs, you will see that most of them are mixed with Poodles. Most people do not know this, but the Poodle is one of the best dogs to crossbreed dogs with. One thing is for sure, the Goldendoodles are perfect dogs to own. The great thing about crossbreeding dogs is you get rid of health problems that are found in that dog. For example, a lot of Golden Retrievers suffer from the same health problems. As a breed gets older and older, it gets worse and worse, because the same traits keep getting passed down the line. When you mix it with a different breed, you are adding in new traits that help to get rid of those same health problems.
