Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs For Sale
The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is a very large breed of dogs. In fact, this is the largest of the traditional Swiss herding dogs. Although it is not known for sure where the Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs came from, people think that they came from a large breed of dogs that where brought to Switzerland from Rome in the first century B.C. However, the only reason why that story can be proven, is because there are a few records that suggest that the Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs actually ended up in Switzerland centuries before that because of Phoenician traders. Either way you look at it, this is a very old breed of dogs that has been pretty much unchanged for many, many centuries. A lot of people thing that the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is the ancestor of both the Rottwieler and the Saint Bernard. This is a great dog that everyone seems to fall in love with. Mostly because this dog can be like a big teddy bear when trained right.
