Greyhounds For Sale
The Greyhound is a great breed of dog that has been bred mostly for use on the race track. This dog is built tall and very aerodynamic to allow it to reach top speeds on the race track. They have very powerful legs that can help them run over 45 mph in less than two seconds (or within 3 strides). This makes the Greyhound one of the fastest dogs in the world. Many people argue that horses are faster than the Greyhounds. Well, this was a theory that was put to rest when a race was held between a Greyhound and a horse. The race was held on a grass field (so that it would be easier for the horse to run on). However, the horse (in this 400m race) could not catch the Greyhound's quick burst of speed. The Greyhound actually finished almost a full second before the horse did. It's easy to see why Greyhounds make great racing dogs.
