The Puli is a dog that is very easy to pick out. In fact, a lot of people can pick out a Puli right away by the coat that it has. Most people say that the Pulis look like a walking mop. Although they are sweet dogs and easy to train, a lot of people say that this is not a good dog for first time dog owners. Mostly because of the simple fact that this dog needs a lot of grooming. If this dog goes outside, it is going to pick up just about every stick in its path, and not with its mouth. Its coat drags across the ground just like a mop does. Pulis are still sweet dogs, but most do not understand just how the Puli grooming should work. These dogs look best with their hair left long, but the grooming is a big pain. Also, the grooming is something that you are going to have to start doing when they are puppies, so this is going to be an everyday thing for the dog as long as you own it.
