The only problem that people have out of the Rhodesian Ridgebacks is the fact that they can act a little aloof around strangers. These are dogs that should not be aggressive, but some people confuse their aloofness with aggression at times. Really the Rhodesian Ridgebacks are dogs that have a pretty even temperament and will be more inclined to ignore people that they do not know than to attack them. A Rhodesian Ridgeback is a dog that is based on the positive feedback method. When it does something right, it needs to know that it did something right. The best way to do that is to offer them some kind of reward. With good socialization, this dog is a great family dog and should give most people no problems. It can also be an inside dog if you want it to be.
