The Saluki is a dog that looks magical. It is very tall, and it has spots of very lose flowing hair. However, you should know that Salukies are hunting dogs, and they usually are reserved and very aloof. They learn quickly, but these are dogs that get bored with repetition, meaning that you have to train them in very short sessions, otherwise, you will lose control of the dog. This is a dog that has to be trained without force. They have to be trained with a very sweet loving hand. It is law, however, in many places that the Saluki be kept on a lash at all times. This is because they have a very high prey drive. As soon as they see any animal that is smaller than them, (whether it be a cat, dog, rabbit, or bird), they will attack. These are very quick dogs, and usually get what they are after. Not only that, but this magical dog does not bark. It howls in a very high pitched note that makes it sound like it's singing.
