The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is not a dog that looks very friendly when you first meet it. However, as you get to know the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed, you will notice that they are. In fact, they are so friendly, most Kennel Clubs label them as being great with kids. They are a playful breed, but they are also able to do work that you give them. They do make great watch dogs, and most Staffordshire Bull Terriers can be trained to be guard dogs if they have to be. However, this is not what the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is going to want. This is a breed that likes to be friendly with people and usually gets along with all the people they meet, even when meeting that person for the first time. Also, this is a dog that really loves food! It will form a special bond with the person that feeds it and usually follow their commands over others' commands, because that is the person that brings it its food.
