The Vizsla breed of dog is a very gentle breed of dog that has very high energy. Although this is a great breed to have, a lot of people choose not to take care of the Vizslas because of their obsessive compulsive behavior. Although not all of the Vizslas are OCD, most of them are. In fact, you will notice that they have a lot of things that they do all the time, and a lot of this has been shown as an OCD behavior in dogs. One thing that the Vizsla do is lick all the time. In fact, they can lick so much that they have been known to lick one area of their body until the hair comes off. However, this is not because they are hurt or because they itch, this is because they are trying to clean that area of themselves, and they are feeling like it is never clean. A lot of people feel that people with OCD are very hard to get along with, and thus, dogs that have OCD are just as bad. The Vizsla breed will always have this hanging over them.
