The American Pit Bull Terrier will weigh around 100 pounds when full grown. This breed is quite active and requires a lot of exercise, making them ideal for a family with an active outdoor lifestyle. They enjoy walks, runs, hikes, Frisbee and playing ball for starters. They are average shedders with a short, smooth coat. Regular brushing will keep shedding under control. American Pit Bull Terrier puppies are intelligent and affectionate. If raised with other dogs, they will do well with them.
