More About ...
Bichon Frises
The Bichon Frise will weigh seven to 12 pounds as an adult. Not an overly active breed, they will still benefit from daily walks and play sessions. Their double coat is curly and non-shedding. They require daily brushing and professional grooming monthly to stay in top condition. Bichon Frise puppies are very social. They are excellent with children, dogs and other pets but may be difficult to housetrain. Bichon Frise are sometimes crossed with the Poodle to create the Bichon Poo, or with the Havanese to create the Havachon.
Cool Bichon Frise Fact: |
The Bichon Fries were originally traded by sailors and during the sixteenth century, the breed eventually ended up in the royal French courts. Interesting enough, the Bichon Fries breed has also been used in fairs as trained dog acts and as circus animals |
