More About ...
Bulldogs
The Bulldog will weigh 40 to 50 pounds when fully grown. As a breed they are not very active. However, a steady exercise routine is encouraged to help them stay in shape. They have a short, glossy coat and require little grooming. An occasional brushing will control any shedding. Bulldog puppies are gentle and affectionate. If raised with children, other dogs and pets they should do well. They rarely bark, though they may be possessive of their food. Bulldogs are sometimes bred with the Mastiff to create the Bandogge.

Bulldog Puppies for Sale: Which Side of the Pond Do You Want?
If you are looking for Bulldog puppies for sale, the first thing to be aware of is that there are some variations of the breed, so make sure that you are aware of what they are. The two most common are the English Bulldog and the American Bulldog.
The English Bulldog (also known as the British Bulldog) has much shorter legs than its American cousin, and has more wrinkles. In fact, the head of an American Bulldog looks more like a Boxer than the more traditional Bulldog. However, they do have much in common.
Both types of Bulldogs make excellent family pets; they are genuinely fond of people and are great with children. They are both extremely brave, and they make excellent guard dogs. However, the thing to remember when you are looking for Bulldog puppies for sale is that these traits can have a negative effect when combined with other aspects of their personality if they are not handled properly.
Bulldogs are incredibly stubborn and won’t give up easily. This can be endearing when your Bulldog is a puppy, but it is important to understand and establish alpha dog behavior – otherwise, you could end up with a dog that becomes territorial, dominant, and in some instances, aggressive. Once your Bulldog understands that you are the boss, however, (and this can be established calmly and firmly without getting in to a battle) then you and your family will have a best friend for life. In fact, a Bulldog is never happier than when he is getting lots of loving attention – he just needs to remember that you are top dog!
