The Finnish Spitz breed is less known, which is a pity since this is a beautiful dog. It is actually the national dog of Finland where it is used to hunt large birds. The dog specializes in a bird called the Capercaillie. The dog finds the bird and then follows it till the bird lands in a tree. The dog then suedo hypnotizes the bird by slowly moving its bushy tail around until the hunter shows up. Odd, but true.
