More About ...
French Bulldogs
The average adult French Bulldog will weigh about 28 pounds. This breed is not very active, but should be encouraged to take daily walks regardless, as long as the weather is not too warm so they may avoid overheating. Their short, smooth coat needs little grooming. An occasional brushing will keep shedding under control. French Bulldog puppies are very affectionate. They are suited for families with children, other dogs and even cats. They may be bred with the Pug to create the French Pug.

French Bulldog Puppies For Sale
French Bulldog Puppies for Sale: Ooh La La
If you are looking at French Bulldog puppies for sale, you are making an excellent choice. These dogs make perfect family pets: they’re good with children, will accommodate strangers and are quite tolerant of other pets. On top of all of this, they make excellent protectors of the home. In their spare time, they will have you constantly amused by their comic antics.
French Bulldogs do not actually originate in France, but in Nottingham, England, in the 19th century by the Lace Makers who wanted a lap dog version of the English Bulldog. Throughout the 1860s, many craftspeople left England and made their way to France, where these dogs became even more popular and eventually took on the name of French Bulldog.
One thing to consider when you are looking at French Bulldog puppies for sale is that some of them become embroiled with what is sometimes referred to as ‘Small Dog Syndrome’. This means that because they are little and cute they are allowed to behave in a way that wouldn’t be tolerated in other dogs. This can have the effect of making the dog believe that he is Alpha Canine and tries to rule the roost, and can lead to aggression. Not only is this unpleasant for the family, but is actually detrimental to the mental well-being of the dog – it’s hard work making sure that your humans toe the line!
French Bulldogs are also intolerant of temperature extremes, which can make them ill. They are more suited to temperate regions.
