More About ...
Golden Retrievers
Said to be one of the very easiest breeds to train as well as one of the most good-natured, the average adult Golden Retriever will weigh 55 to 75 pounds. These dogs enjoy daily walks, play and other exercise. Their double coat may be wavy or straight. A quick daily brushing prevents any tangles. Golden Retriever puppies are intelligent and loving, though they may get a little destructive if left alone for long periods. They are suited for almost any family, including those with children, other dogs and non-canine pets. They may be bred with the Poodle to create the Goldendoodle.

Golden Retriever Puppies for Sale: A Golden Breed
When it comes to finding a friendly and fun addition to the household, considering some of the Golden Retriever puppies for sale is something you won’t regret. These dogs will grow quite large over time, and will range between 21 and 24 inches in height depending on gender. Such a dog might not be a worthwhile consideration if you have small children to look after, especially considering the unbounded enthusiasm of your Golden Retriever can be a little scary to babies and toddlers.
A joy to have in the house, it’s important to ensure that you give Golden Retrievers the physical and mental workouts they need to remain happy dogs. With a bit of training (which won’t be a hard task considering how clever they are!), you can make the most out of your dog’s talents too, which most notably includes retrieving toys, mail, or even the morning newspaper!
Once you find one of the Golden Retriever puppies for sale that are perfect for you, the next question might be how to keep your canine friend looking great. With beautiful, thick fur, it’s good to know that their undercoat won’t require too much maintenance. By pampering your pooch with a gentle brush every week, your Golden Retriever will do the rest – shedding hair twice a year in line with the seasons changing.
As the puppy is welcomed into the home, it’s likely that they will be keen to leap onto furniture and explore every room in the house. Bearing in mind that your Golden Retriever will grow considerably in the first few years, you should think about the rules you would like your puppy to follow when it grows into a large dog. Starting this training now will save you the time and frustration of changing old habits in the future.
