Labrador Retrievers

The Labrador Retriever breed originated in Newfoundland. It has been the most popular breed in America since 1991. Weighing 55 to 80 pounds when full grown, these dogs excel in obedience. They love to swim and retrieve, and need lots of exercise out of doors. They are average shedders, and their short double coat should be brushed every week. Labrador Retriever puppies are devoted, obedient and extremely easygoing. They are good with children, dogs and other pets.
