Morkies

A designer cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese breeds, the Morkie is also known as the Yorktese. Weighing a diminutive four to nine pounds when fully grown, they are affectionate, loving and snuggly. Their long hair is fine and silky. Daily brushing is recommended to prevent tangling. They thrive on daily walks and play sessions, and should have indoor toys for chewing. Morkie puppies may be difficult to housetrain. They are not recommended for families with small children, but do well with dogs and other pets.
