The Peruvian Inca Orchid is an oddly names dog given this "orchid" is essentially hairless. In truth, there is also a coated version that is fairly rare, but the name still makes you wonder. The popular story for the odd name is the Spanish discovered it among a field of flowers while routing the Peruvians in a battle and thus named it the flower dog. We have our doubts about this story.
