The English Bulldog has a reputation for being aggressive. One look at a litter of English Bulldog puppies for sale will tell you this can't possibly be the case. In fact, the reputation is not really deserved as most of these dogs are actually great with kids and other dogs they meet.
As for specifics, the English Bulldog is a compact, thick dog. Despite only growing to a foot in height, this breed will way 50 pounds or so on average. Unfortunately, this compact package leads to health problems and you can expect to be at the vet more than with other dogs if you pick up one of these pups.
