Poodles
There are some dogs that are very smart, and then there are some dogs that are amazingly smart! That just so happens to be the case with the Poodle. This is a dog that comes in three different sizes. You have the Toy Poodle, the Miniature Poodle and the standard Poodles. There are tons of different colors that the Poodle comes in, and you can usually tell what color it is going to be when it is a puppy. Poodle puppies usually do not change in color as they grow up. So you usually have a pretty good idea of what you are going to have. The main colors are back and white. However, they also come in red, silver and even blue. Of course, this dog is not just intelligent, it is also very alert and can be pretty active.
There are many different reasons why the Poodle was bred, but right now, and historically as well, the Poodle was ideal for performances. This has to do with how fast they can learn. However, something that a lot of people do not know about Poodles is that they are hunting dogs. This is something that they just have a certain drive for. Even the toy Poodles like to get out there and hunt. Most of the time the toy Poodles point out birds. So it's like they are pointers. The only problem with the Poodle is that it does have such a high level of energy that it tends to get bored pretty quickly. A lot of times to pass the time it will get into mischief, and because it is so smart, it tends to get into a good deal of mischief.
The Poodle is a very people oriented dog. It's for this reason why the Poodle is so eager to please you. They do make very good watch dogs, but this does not mean they are like normal working dogs. In fact, a lot of working dogs become a one person dog. However, the Poodle tends to fall in love with everyone in the family. You will notice right away that the Poodle is very easy to train and does like to exercise daily. So you should plan on taking it walking or running. These dogs are good at jogging, because most of them are pretty athletic and agile.
Another reason why people like to buy Poodle for sale or Poodle puppies for sale is because they are very entertaining dogs. Even Poodle puppies are pretty entertaining. Although they like to play a lot these dogs do need lots of rest as well. More so than other dogs. They also are not good at going long times without fresh water. As said before, the Poodle is very easy to train, and they can learn potty training very fast. Some Poodles do get different kinds of diseases that you have to look out for. One of the most common in all dogs is hip dysplasia. Of course, just because the Poodle can get different types of health problems does not mean you should not get one. All dogs get health problems just like humans do.
